6 lg. baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 qt. chicken broth
3 garlic cloves, minced
c. butter
2 tsp. salt
tsp. pepper

1 c. half and half
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients in crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. Mash mixture until potatoes are slightly chopped and soup is slightly thickened. Stir in half and half and cheese. Top with bacon to serve.
