6 squares of semi sweet chocolate
8 oz cream cheese (room temp)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs - separated
pinch of salt
1 cup heavy whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate (suggests do in double boiler pan over hot water) but not necessary if you watch it close
Remove from heat and set aside
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then beat in 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla
Beat in egg yolks one at a time
Add melted chocolate
Beat the egg whites with the salt until it holds a soft shape
Gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar and beat until rather firm but not stiff
Whip the cream in a chilled bowl until it holds a soft shape then fold in the chocolate
Now fold in egg whites
Pour the chocolate filling into the pie shell, piling it high in the center
Refridge for 6 hours or overnight.
