1 lb. walnut halves
2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. orange zest

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325ºF. Toast walnuts until light brown about 10 minutes, stirring once. Cool. Melt butter in a 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Mix egg whites, sugar and salt. Add vanilla and zest; mix well. Add toasted walnuts and mix until well coated. Spread into pan with melted butter. Bake for 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes. Cool.
