Granny's Applesauce Cake Recipe

1 cup butter or Crisco
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 16 oz. can of applesauce
3 cups flour
teaspoon salt
1 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup raisins

Cream butter, eggs, and sugar together. Add vanilla and applesauce; beat well.

Sift dry ingredients together and add to applesauce mixture. Add pecans and raisins. Mix well.

Bake in (2) greased and floured loaf pans at 275 for 35-40 minutes until done.
