1 - bottle soy sauce
1 - bottle liquid smoke (use Colgens natural hickory)
1 - cup light brown sugar
For peppered you can add when you place meat on each tray.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well (this should be enough sauce for about 4 lbs. of beef)
Slice meat thin and use very lean beef
Place meat in mix and let stand overnight if possible
Place meet in dehydrator and dehydrate until as dry as you like (if you overdry you can spread the pieces out and lightly mist with water)
