1 cup flour (sifted)
cup sugar
tsp baking soda
tsp salt
cup shortening (cut in until course crumb)
cup peanut butter
cup light corn syrup
1 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all ingredients.
Shape into 2 inch roll and chill. Slice to ⅛ inch thick, place of the slices on ungreased cookie sheets. Put about tsp peanut butter on slices. Cover with remaining slices. Seal edges with fork and bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Cool slightly and removed.
Makes 2 dozen
