Approx 10 graham crackers
1 cup butter, completely melted
3 ¾ cup (1 lb box) powdered sugar
2 cups creamy peanut butter (18 oz jar)
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Set butter or margarine out to soften, or melt in microwave.
Place the graham crackers in plastic bag and tie with twisty tie and crush the crackers into fine crumbs with a rolling pin or mallet. Shake the crumbs around several times to find chunks to crush. Then place crumbs in a large mixing bowl.
Melt chocolate in microwave for 3 minutes or until completely melted.
Place peanut butter and powdered sugar in the bowl with the graham cracker crumbs. Mash together with potato masher, then add melted butter and continue mashing. (Will require elbow grease to get it well mixed.) Continue till it is completely mixed.
Grease 9x13 pan, then press the cracker mixture evenly into the pan. Use a spatula to press it in evenly and smoothly.
Pour melted chocolate over the cracker mixture and smooth it evenly to the edges. Let harden at room temperature, then cut into squares and enjoy.
Note: if you put it in the freezer it will freeze with little white dots/specks on it, but does not change the taste.
