Patty Layfield

2 Tbl. butter
2 eggs
2 Tbl. flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp almond ext. (optional)
1 cup white syrup
1 1/2 cup coarsely broken pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add salt, flour, almond ext., vanilla and syrup to the
creamed mixture. Add pecans.
Pour into unbaked 9" pie shell and bake at 375 for 45 minutes.

I have substituted maple syrup for part of the white syrup and it was good.
