Apple Torte Recipe

2 c. flour
2 T. sugar
1 c. margarine
6 to 8 baking apples
½ c sugar
1 t. cinnamon
2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
3 ½ c. milk
cool whip (8 oz)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients for crust; pat into a 9 x 13 cake pan.

Peel and slice apples in a bowl; add the 1/2 c. sugar and cinnamon.
Mix together, spread on top of crust mixture.
Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Let cool.

Mix the 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding with the 3 ½ c. milk until thickened.
Pour over cooled apple slices and crust.
Top off with cool whip.
Chill and enjoy.
(you may use as many apples as you want -- just not too thick).
