Ingredients:  
3 cups flour
1 Tblsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup margarine OR 1/3 cup lard and 2/3 cup margarine to make 1 cup
2/3 cup milk
1 egg

Filling:
4 cups diced apples or more depending on how thick you want it to be
1 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 Tblsp melted margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, salt, margarine till crumbly. Add milk and egg to make dough.
Line bottom and sides of a cookie sheet with half of the dough.

Make filling with apples, sugar, salt and margarine. Cover the bottom layer of dough with the filling.
Cover the apple mixture with the other half of the dough.

Bake at 425 degrees.


You can use any fruit mixture you like for the filling.
