1/4 C. Milk
1 Egg
1/3 C. All-Purpose Flour
1/3 C. Cornflakes, Crushed
1/4 tsp. Salt
Pinch of Pepper
2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken breasts, halved
6 T. Butter or Margarine
1 tsp. Garlic, minced
2 T. Lemon Juice
1 C. Green Onions, 1" slices
1 C. Mushrooms fresh, halved
1 Lemon, 1/4" slices, optional
Parsley, fresh,optional

Directions:
In a small bowl, combine milk and egg. Combine flour, cornflakes, salt and pepper in a large plastic bag. Flatten each chicken breast to 1/4" thickness by pounding between two sheets of waxed paper. Dip chicken into milk mixture, then into flour mixture , shaking bag to coat chicken. In a large skillet or fry pan, melt 4 t. butter. Add garlic and chicken. cook over medium heat, turning occasionally, until golden brown(5-6 min.) Place chicken on serving platter and keep warm. add remaining 2 T. Butter to drippings in pan. Stir in lemon juice. Add green onions and mushrooms. Continue cooking until heated thorough(2-4 min.) Spoon over chicken, garnish with lemon slices and parsley
