1 pound bacon
Minced garlic
3 large onions
3 large tomatoes
1 (5-pound) can Bush’s pinto beans
2 bunches cilantro
6 ounces light beer (only ½ can)....so drink the rest!!

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and cook until done but not crispy.
2. Add 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic.
3. Dice onions into large pieces and cook until translucent.
4. Dice tomatoes into large pieces and cook until stewed.
5. Add Bush’s beans to pot.
6. Cook until bubbling, stirring often so beans won’t burn or stick to the bottom of the pot.
7. Chop desired amount of cilantro and stir into the beans.
8. Add only 6 ounces or ½ can of any light beer (only use light beer as regular beer will sour the beans).
9. Simmer on low for about 10 minutes or until beans are bubbling.
10. Remove from heat. Leftover beans freeze well.
