• 4 cups tart apples ( pared and sliced)
• 1/4 cup orange juice
• 1 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 dash salt
• 1/3 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mound apples in buttered pie plate and pour orange juice over them.
2. In separate bowl, combine sugar, flour, spices and salt.
3. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
4. Sprinkle over apples.
5. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
6. Serve warm.
