Mimi's Orange Chicken Recipe

5 or 6 chicken breasts
2 Tablespoons salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup cooking oil
1 can (16 oz) frozen orange juice
1 juice can of water
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon oregano, crushed
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 medium onion, sliced

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Combine flour and remaining salt in a bag. Add chicken and coat well. Brown the chicken well in the hot oil Pour off excess fat. Combine the remaining ingredients and add to the chicken. Cover and simmer, turning often, 30 to 40 minutes or until tender.
