20 oz. white kidney beans
45 oz. red kidney beans
28 oz. crushed tomato
6 oz. tomato paste
1 3/4 - 2 lbs. ground beef (lean)
1/4 to 1/2 lb. ground pork
2 chopped onions
2 cloves garlic
chili powder
cumin seed
crushed red pepper
2 bay leaves
2 pinches oregano
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute chopped onions and garlic in minimum amount of oil. Brown meat in onion mixture. Sprinkle in spices and drain grease. In large pot (drain 1/2 liquid of cans) mix white, red beans, tomato and tomato paste. Add additional spices to taste. Mix in meat and simmer 1 hour. Can also add grated carrots or chopped green peppers. Serve with grated cheddar cheese.
