2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
3 tbs. shortening
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Drop by small spoonfuls into hot fat. Doughnuts will usually turn themselves as they are browning. Shake in white or powdered sugar while still warm.
