1/2 Cup Butter at room temperature
3/4 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Cup Chopped Hazelnuts toasted
2/3 Cup White Chocolate Chips

* Alternatives:
Walnuts in place of Hazelnuts
Cranberries, Walnuts and White Chocolate Chips
or 2/3 Chocolate Chips & Nuts

Directions:

Heat oven to 350º. Grease Baking Sheet with Pam
Beat together butter & sugar until light and fluffy. Bat in eggs one at a time and then add vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder & salt. Toss with a fork. Add to butter mixture along with chips and nuts. Divide dough into half and shape each in a log 12 x 2". Repeat with other half. Bake a 350 until light brown, approximately 25 minutes. Cool logs, 10 minutes. Place on a cutting board and cut diagonally into 1/2" slices. Place slices cut side down and bake for another 12-15 minutes. Store at room temperature in covered container.
