1-10 medium cucumbers
2 cups vinegar
2 cups water
2 tablespoons pickling salt
4 heads dill
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix water, vinegar, salt and sugar. Boil.
Slice cucumbers (like bread and butter pickles or a little thicker).
Sterilize jars. Add lids to pot of boiling water. Turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
Put garlic, dill, cucumber in jar until ¼ inch from top. Add hot syrup.
Immediately put lid on and tighten to figure tight.

Use cucumbers that are not too large as the large ones will be mushy.
To facilitate sealing have cucumbers at room temperature and jars hot.
