1 cup butter
1 2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cardamon seeds (crushed)
4 cups flour
1 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cup ground almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, baking powder, salt, vanilla, cardamon seeds, flour, sour cream and almonds. Spread in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 40-50 minutes at 350º. When cold, cut into 1" x 2" squares and dry in low oven at 250º. Turn over once when slightly brown. Turn off oven and leave over night to dry.
