3/4 cup ground cinnamon
1 Tablespoon allspice
2 Tablespoons cloves
1 Tablespoon nutmeg
1 cup applesauce
Cookie cutters

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg in a glass bowl or plastic bag. Add applesauce; mix well. Mixture will be stiff. Roll to 1/4 inch thickness on ungreased cookie sheet, marble slab or other flat surface. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Remove excess dough. Make holes for hanging ornaments with metal skewer or straw. Let dry, uncovered, at room temperature for 4-5 days. Pile in basket, tie on wreath or packages or hang on tree branches to decorate.
Makes 25 small or 18 medium ornaments.
