2 cups white sugar
1 lb shortening
2 cups sour milk use vinegar to make the sour milk about 1 tbsp
2 cups molasses
9 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp baking soda
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp nutmeg
1 tbsp ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening real well. Add milk and molasses. then add flour, baking soda and spices.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
