CAKE:
1 cup quick oatmeal
1 sticks butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda

TOPPING:
1 stick butter
1/2 cup white sugar
2 cup coconut
1/4 c. canned milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 1/4 cup boiling water and 1 cup quick oatmeal and add 1 stick of butter. Cover and let stand for 20 minutes.

Add sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Sift together remaining dry ingredients and add into wet ingredients. Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

Mix topping ingredients and spread on hot cake and broil until light brown (happens quickly).
