1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 - 2 cups pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Boil all together to a soft ball stage. Stir in quickly 1/4 lb pecans. Spread on waxed paper. Cool. Break apart and store.

*I shudder to think how many pounds of these pecans we have eaten in our lifetime.
