Spudnuts Recipe

2 Yeast cake or 2 pkg yeast
4 cups milk scaled and cooled
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup margarine
5 eggs beaten
1 cup sugar
2 cups mashed potatoes
2 ts nutmeg


1 lb icing sugar
2 tsp butter

Add hot water to make a fairly thick liquid.

Add dissolved yeast to cool milk then add sugar, eggs, margarine stir well and add enough flour to make soft dough. Let rise until double in size. Then knead and roll out 1 inch double in size. Let rise again. cut and cook in hot fat until golden brown then dip in glaze while still hot.
