1 1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup oil
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup sour milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups diced rhubarb
1 1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts or pecans

Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. oleo or butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together brown sugar, oil, and egg.
Mix and add to first mixture - baking soda and sour milk.
Add: salt, vanilla, and flour.
Mix well and add rhubarb and nuts.

Make a crumble out of the topping ingredients and sprinkle on batter before baking.

Grease and flour either 3 small or 1 large loaf pans. ( I use Baker's spray)

Preheat oven to 325º and bake 1 hour or until done.

Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans.
