º 4 packages Italian sausage (hot, medium, sweet or combo)
º 1 onion
º 3 bell peppers
º Pepper grinder
º Garlic salt
º 10 peppercorns
º Crushed red pepper
º 1 large bottle of Ragu Meat Sauce (This is the only sauce that holds up in the crockpot for this length of time).

12 hours before eating, put ¼ cup of water in the crockpot. Stack sausages in crock pot. Slice onion and add to pot. Slice peppers and add to pot. Add peppercorns. Pour meat sauce over sausages. Sprinkle garlic salt, ground pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste. Cover and turn heat to low (at least 10 hours). Leave covered until ready to serve. Ladle out the grease that has risen to the top for a healthier meal.

Cook rigatoni al dente. Pour sausages and sauce over rigatoni in large bowl.

Use boneless pork ribs, beef shank, chicken or other meats for variety.
