2 cups fresh fruit (sweetened with sugar & refrigerated)
3/4 stick of butter, melted
1 c self-rising flour
1 c whole milk
1 c sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Pour melted butter in 9 x 9 casserole dish or similar dish. Whisk together the milk, flour & sugar. Once well blended, pour batter over butter. DO NOT STIR. Spoon sweetened fruit over batter and drizzle juice over the stop. Again, DO NOT STIR. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.

I normally cut my fruit up & pour sugar over the top, stirring occasionally while refrigerated to create the thick juice. It's best to sweeten the fruit overnight or for a few hours so the juice will be allowed to thicken before preparing dish.
