1 cup butter
cup brown sugar
1/3 cup dark molasses
2 cup flour
tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
tsp. ginger
tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Oven 375 degrees
Cream butter, gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Blend in
molasses. Combine flour, soda, salt & spices. Blend thoroughly.
Cover & chill about 30 minutes.
Using of the dough at a time, on a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to inch thickness.
Cut out gingerbread men/women with a floured cookie cutter.
Bake on lightly oiled cookie sheet 8-12 minutes depends on size of cookie. Let cool 3-5 minutes before removing from pan.
Decorate.
