1 cups flour
1 cup sugar, divided
1 teaspoon baking powder
teaspoon salt
teaspoon nutmeg
cup shortening
1 egg, beaten
cup milk
1 cup grated apples
cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine together flour, cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Cut in shortening, stir in egg, milk and fold in apples. Fill muffin tins full. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes. Dip tops in remaining cup sugar and cinnamon.
