1 lb ground beef
1 lb Lasagna noodles
2 Tbs olive oil (optional)


Sauce:

3 cans (10 ½ oz) spaghetti sauce
½ tsp salt

¾ tsp oregano (crushed)


Filling:
1 lb ricotta cheese
8oz mozzarella cheese
4 eggs
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
¼ tsp oregano (crushed)

Sauté the meat in oil and drain the fat. Add spaghetti sauce, oregano, and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes. Cook the noodles as directed on package with the option of adding olive oil to the water. Prepare filling by mixing remaining ingredients together. Place a little sauce in the bottom of a greased 13x9 casserole dish. Add a layer of noodles, making sure to over lap the edges and cover the entire bottom of the pan. Add a layer of cheese mixture, making sure to cover evenly over the noodles. Top with sauce then add another layer of noodles, followed by cheese and sauce. Place the remaining layer of noodles on top and cover with sauce. If desired sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
