Cream:
1 c. margarine
2 c. sugar

Add:
4 eggs
3 c. flour
½ t. soda
½ t. salt
1 c. buttermilk
grated rind of 1 lemon

Put into greased loaf pans and bake @ 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Directions:
While bread bakes, mix juice of 3 lemons and 1 c. sugar. Stir occasionally. When bread is done, put loaves on foil, poke holes with fork, and spoon lemon mixture over loaves. Cool, and then wrap tightly. Can be frozen keep 2-3 days before serving.

Probably best after a day. Lemon juice mixture soaks throughout.
