¾ cup butter, melted
1½ cups sugar
1½ tsp vanilla
3 eggs
¾ cup unsifted all purpose flour
½ cup Hershey cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Using a large spoon, blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
Add eggs, beat well with spoon.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended.
Spread mixture in greased 8" square pan.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan.
Cool then cut into squares.

For a richer taste I use only ¼ cup Hershey cocoa and then add ¼ cup Dutch process cocoa (from Penzey's).
Try underbaking a bit for a softer brownie.
