Ingredients:

1 cup margarine, part butter
cup confectioner's sugar
2 cups flour
tsp salt
tsp baking powder

Jam
(Nana uses Smucker's Rasberry Jam with no seeds)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening until soft.
Add sugar gradually.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt, then add to sugar mixture.
Shape into balls " in diameter and place on cookie sheet.
Press thimble in center of each and fill with jam.

Bake at 350 for 5 minutes, then rotate cookie sheet. Bake until bottoms are soft brown. Keep checking!
