Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 C (2 oz.) grated cheese
(almost any variety works)

Directions:
Directions:
Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Form about 1 Tbsp. of the cheese into a thin circle on the parchment paper; repeat with remaining cheese, leaving 2" between circles. Bake at 350º until the cheese is golden brown about 5 - 10 minutes. Crisps are done when they are a uniform golden brown and have a lacy texture. Cool on the baking sheet, then serve.

Baking time depends on how dry your cheese is. Parmesan will cook faster than Cheddar because it has less moisture to begin with.

Variation:
Add a pinch of dried herb or ground spice to each cheese circle before baking.

Serving ideas:
Layer in hamburgers or other sandwiches for extra crunch.
Serve Cheddar Crisp with soup or chili.
Serve as garnish with a Lettuce salad.
Or just snack on them plain!
