1/4 pt, sour cream
4 egg yokes
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp whiskey
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
2 1/4 cups flour

Directions:
Mix ingredients and roll out dough. and cut into rectangles,1 1/2 by 2 inch strips w and 4 " length.. use little egg white in center of strips to act as glue then pinch center together. To make more secure fold the pinch over one more time. Otherwise it might release in frying,

Fry bows ties in hot oil. remove with slotted spoon and place on paper towel to drain,
Dust with confectioners sugar or you may drizzle with warm honey.

When frying use small skillet with 1 or 2 inches of oil. this allows you to keep the oil clean and change oil when needed.
