6 slices bacon, cut up
1 c. chopped onion (1/2 medium)
2 Tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
2 medium potatoes - peeled & diced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can Bush's Baked Beans - I used Original

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, cook bacon until lightly browned; add onion & cook until onion is tender but not brown. Blend in flour. Add milk all at once. Cook & stir until mixture thickens slightly & bubbles. Add potatoes, salt, thyme & pepper; cover & simmer til potatoes are tender, about 12-15 minutes. Stir in beans; heat through.
