Crescent Chicken Roll Ups Recipe

2 large chicken breasts OR 4 chicken thighs
1 can crescent rolls
1 10.5 ounce can of cream of chicken
1/2 soup can of broth (or use water chicken was cooked in)
1/2 soup can milk
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
6 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Place chicken in a pot and cover with water
Bring to a boil then reduce to medium heat
Cook until chicken is cooked through
Remove chicken from pot to cool saving broth
When chicken is cool, shred and set aside
Whisk together soup, broth, milk, flour, salt and pepper
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles
Place a small amount of cheese over triangle then add
1 tablespoon of shredded chicken
Roll up and place in a 9”x13” casserole dish
Repeat with remaining ingredients
When all roll ups are in the dish, pour soup mixture around
the roll ups and drizzle a small amount on the tops
Bake in 375º oven for 25 minutes
Remove dish from oven and top with a little more cheese
Return dish to oven for 5 additional minutes
Remove dish from oven and allow to sit for a few minutes
before serving
Soup mixture will thicken into gravy

You can use leftover rotisserie chicken as a shortcut.
Cream of chicken and mushroom soup can be substituted for
