Blueberry Pie Recipe

Crust:
2 c. flour
1 T. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
5 - 6 T. water, very cold

Filling:
3 c. blueberries
2 T. flour or 2 1/2 T. tapioca
1 c. tart apples, shredded
2 T. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
To prepare crust, mix together first 4 ingredients until crumbly. Add 5 to 6 tsp. of water to mixture and knead into a ball. Divide ball in half. Roll out dough balls into shape of pie pan. Transfer one crust to pie pan.

Next, toss blueberries with flour or tapioca in a bowl. Add the rest of the filling ingredients and stir together. Pour filling into pie pan; top with remaining crust. Bake at 400º for 40 minutes or until crust is a golden brown.
