Ingredients: 1 Box German Chocolate Cake Mix ( I use milk chocolate) 2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk 1/4 Cup Margarine 14 Oz. Bag of Caramels 6 oz. Package Chocolate Chips( I use mini chips) 1 Cup Chopped Pecans

Directions: |
Directions:Preheat oven to 350, Grease and flour a 9' X 13" pan. Mix cake as directed on cake mix box and add 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 1/4 cup margarine. After mixing ingredients together pour half of the batter into the pan, bake for 15 minutes. While cake is baking melt caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk by placing in small saucepan over medium heat stirring until all caramels are melted. Pour caramel sauce over the warm cake,then add nuts and chocolate chips sprinkled over the caramel sauce. Pour rest of batter over the top of cake and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cake tests done. I usually dust with powdered sugar or if you like you can melt more caramels and pur over the top of the cake and add more nuts and chocolate pieces.
