2 pkg. dry yeast
2 cups very warm water
1 tbsp. salt
½ c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
¼ c oil
6 c. plus flour

Directions:
Dissolve the dry yeast in the warm water. Add the salt, sugar and eggs. Add the oil. After stirring well, begin to add the flour, 2 cups at a time. Pour the dough out onto a floured surface and begin to add flour as you knead the dough. When it no longer sticks to your hands it is ready. Put it in a greased bowl and let rise covered in a warm place for 1½ hours. You are now ready to make rolls, bread or cinnamon rolls from the dough.

To make cinnamon rolls, divide the dough in half and roll it out. Spread it with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon, then cover with brown sugar. Roll together and slice in 1 inch rolls. Place touching in a greased pan and let rise again 1 hour. Bake in a 350º - 375º oven approximately 25-30 minutes or until done. Frost shortly after removal from oven.

Frosting: 1 box of powdered sugar, 1 stick of butter, 2 teas. of vanilla and enough evaporated milk to thin to proper consistency. (You can use a mixer or mix by hand.) Use a pastry brush to apply the frosting to the rolls.

This is the recipe I use instead of Grandma Bonner's recipe. The reason is that it does not have milk and uses oil instead of shortening, which is easier to blend in. Other than that, the two recipes are very much the same!
