Ingredients:
Ingredients:
whole turkey or chicken
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. butter
spices (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Remove neck, gizzard/giblets from bird and rinse bird under cold water and pat dry. Rub butter over bird and add salt and pepper, and desired spices (optional). If using a smaller turkey/chicken, place in an oven bag. Put in a pan. If using a larger turkey/chicken, put it in the pan and form a tinfoil tent over (the juice will condense and self baste). Still may want to baste every 20 minutes. Follow directions on turkey/chicken for baking, approximately 20 minutes for every lb. Once done, remove meat from bone. Take some juice from pan, pour over meat and serve.
