2 1/2 cups of plain flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup salad oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 cups of chopped apples
16 oz. pkg. of peanut or butterscotch chips
1 cup of nuts, optional
Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients first then add oil and eggs. Batter will be stiff. Add apples and nuts (if using nuts). Mix with wooden spoon until all is combined. Mixture will be rather stiff. Spoon into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top. Bake at 325º for approximately 1 hour.
