1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
1 pkg. Taco seasoning mix
1 cup of water
1 (16 oz.) can black beans
1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes w/ green chilies
1 (16 oz.) can white corn
salt and pepper to taste

You can use 2 cans of tomatoes if you don't like green chilies

Brown meat, season with salt and pepper then sauté onions for 2 - 3 minutes. Place meat, onion, seasoning packets, canned goods and water into pot. Stir and simmer for 2 hours. Add more water if needed to desired consistency. Serve with sour cream, green onions and cheddar cheese on top.

Corn chips are good in soup also.
