1 tbsp. of olive oil or oil of your choice
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 small onion, diced small
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 cups of medium egg noodles (do not precook)
1 (28 oz.) can of crushed tomatoes, plus 1/4 cup of water (can use tomato sauce)
2 1/2 tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce
3/4 - 1 tsp. of salt
pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350º. Brown meat until meat loses it red color and season with salt and pepper, stirring. Remove from pan. Heat oil and sauté onion for 3 minutes on medium heat just until translucent. Do not brown. Return meat to pan with onions. Add crushed tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer on low for 10 minutes. Place noodles in bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover noodles with meat mixture. DO NOT MIX. LEAVE MEAT MIXTURE ON TOP.
Bake in oven covered with aluminum foil for 25 minutes. Remove from oven, remove foil. Spread cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is completely melted, but NOT browned. Just till melted.
