2 ripe avocados (soft, but not mushy, are usually ripe avocados)
1 small ripe tomato, diced small
1/2 small onion, diced very small
1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
2 tsp. fresh lime juice
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro (optional)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and mash avocados in a medium serving bowl. Stir in onion, garlic, tomato, lime juice, salt and pepper. Additional lime juice can be added for personal taste. If cilantro is used, add now. Chill for half an hour to blend flavors. Makes 2 to 3 cups.
