For the meatloaf, any recipe will do. I usually make it with 1 lb hamburger and 1 lb ground pork. 1 chopped onion. 1 piece of torn bread. 1 beaten egg. Seasonings like Montreal steak or Midwestern meat. Pepper and whatever else you might like. I usually put in a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar.

Bake 1 hr. 350. Then spread top of loaf with ketchup and brown sugar mixture (you can use Chili Sauce instead of ketchup for a zippy alternative). Add vinegar to the sauce for additional tang. Bake another 20-30 minutes. If you find a basic meatloaf recipe, you can just use that but the ketchup and brown sugar is what makes it good. I always make extra and keep a little to spread on meatloaf sandwiches.
