1 pound dates
2 tsp vanilla
water

2 cups roll oats
2 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cover dates and vanilla with water and cook on stove until soft. Combine ingredients to form crumbs. Put half of crumb mixture into bottom of 9 x 13 dish. Spread date mixture over crumb mixture and top with remaining crumbs on top. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. Cool and cut in squares.
