2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup banana, mashed
1/2 cup milk with 2 Tbsp lemon juice stirred in.
3/4 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Stir flour and soday together. Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs. Mix in dry ingredients alternately with bananas and milk. Add nuts. Pour into well greased and lightly floured bread pans.
Bake at 350ºfor 1 hour or until test done.
Makes 2 loaves.
