Texas Steak Rub Recipe

1 1/2 Tbsp plain Salt
2 tsp Brown Sugar
1/4 tsp Cornstarch
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Garlic Salt
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper

1. Combine all ingredients in a gallon size plastic Zip-Loc bag and shake-mix combining all ingredients.
2. Transfer into a spice container.
3. Thoroughly coat each side of the steak with seasoning and let rest for about 40-45 minutes to allow juices to reabsorb in meat and spices to break down muscle fibers.
4. Prepare a hot Grill and place steaks on grill allowing each steak to cook about 4 to 5 minutes until it is browned and is slightly charred, flip over and cook for about-
5 minutes for Medium-Rare
7 minutes for Medium
10 minutes for Medium-Well

After grilling place a small pat of Butter or Herb Butter on each steak and let rest (keeping warm) for about 3 minutes and serve.
