3 very large green bell or yellow peppers or about 5 small ones
15 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 pound ground beef or turkey or pork (mix is good too)
1 chopped onion
1 cup cooked brown or white rice or instant rice (no need to cook)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instead of meat try mushroom, shrimp, a mix of grains and rices, quinoa

Top off the peppers and clean them out. (save the tops).
Mix together raw hamburger, seasonings, onion, and rice.
Stuff the peppers with the uncooked stuffing,
Add tomato sauce (I season it up a bit)to. Cover. Stove top or bake 35 min.
